Students applying for admission to the Running Start program at Washington State University Tri-Cities must complete and submit this Running Start application to be considered for Running Start admission.

Students who meet the cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher meet the assured admission criteria and are required to submit
  1. A completed online Running Start application (below)
  2. An unofficial high school transcript.

Students who are below a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or are homeschooled must submit
  1. A completed online Running Start application (below),
  2. An unofficial high school transcript, and
  3. A standardized test score (SAT, ACT, ACT Residual, PSAT, or PLAN scores)
    • PSAT and PLAN test scores will be evaluated on an individual basis and are not considered for general admissions.

*Students who have not taken a standardized test score are encouraged to submit the most recent state/national test scores
*Homeschooled students are evaluated on an individual basis.

Application Guideline
Step 1. Complete and submit the online application below.
Step 2. Print the 2-page document for FERPA and Parent Permission Form on the second page.
Step 3. Have the document signed by both student and parent/guardian.
Step 4. Obtain your unofficial transcript and the standardized test scores (if applicable).
